Falling For Fall: Fashion Inspo 2018
I LIVE FOR FALL. Like give me all the pumpkin spice and let me just live in boots, scarves, sweaters, and flannels for the rest of time. But really there’s nothing better than rocking your favorite fall outfit, walking outside in the crisp air, and carrying a PSL in hand. And I know I sound like the most basic B ever but I’m 100% okay with it. Every summer, I look forward to Fall so much so that I’m checking the weather forecast obsessively waiting until I see those 60 degree days! There’s just something special about this season that makes me feel alive and excited for new beginnings. And I try to soak up every single minute of it here in the Midwest because in the blink of an eye its gone.
Perhaps one of the reasons I love this season so much is because Fall clothing items are my most favorite to buy. I can’t even tell you how many flannels and sweaters I own and still continue to buy. Or how much I look forward to putting on little booties or knee high boots for the first time. So far this year, I’ve combined some new faves with some old gems to create a couple of my favorite looks for Fall. Hope you all enjoy my take on some fall classics!
I’ve been drawn to this mustard yellow color this year! It’s the perfect pop of color for the season and this sweater from Nordstrom Rack is oh so soft! I wore it with a pair of dark Levis and taupe colored booties from Nordstrom that I got last Christmas from the hubby!
One of my favorite Fall trends is denim and lately I’ve been loving a denim on denim look. It’s a classic look that you can really tailor to your own personal style! I love pairing a light denim top with dark jeans and then adding a hat or belt to take it up a notch!
These jeans have quickly become my go to denim! I love how they fit and especially love the cuffed bottoms! I got them at Nordstrom Rack and I kind of want like 10 more pairs of them.
I also am just a tiny bit obsessed with this hat from Anthropolgie and not going to lie it was a total splurge but it was unique and ya know I just HAD to have it. I know some of you get me, right??
And of course I could’t resist this light gray crossbody bag also from Anthropologie! It’s such a staple bag that I know I will use for a long time to come! It also has the feature to remove the straps and use as a clutch- which makes me love it even more!
Another favorite color that I’ve been drawn to this season is olive green! It’s the perfect fall color and I was super excited to find these comfy jogger pants at Old Navy! These pants quickly became a favorite of mine and it’s basically like wearing pajamas which I’m obviously always down for!
Not only are these pants ridiculously comfortable but I’ve found that I can pair them with a lot of different tops to change up the look! For this look, I decided to pair them with a simple white body suit that I was also wearing in the denim outfit. I’ve also been all about the body suits and this one was really affordable at Charlotte Russe!
Ummm can we talk about these earrings?? THEY ARE TO DIE FOR. And they’re from Uncommon James which is Kristin Cavallari’s jewelry brand and I’m all about them! They were so worth the money and I already know I’m going to be wearing them a ton this Fall!
Oh I should also mention these warm tan booties that I love wearing this time of year! They are a few years old from H&M but still in great condition and go well with so many different looks!
