Night Time Skincare Routine

I don't know about you all but the moment I come home from work or a long day, there are two equally gratifying moments. One, taking off that tortious thing they call a bra. Two, washing off my makeup. Those two things are just about as good as Oreos dunked in milk! Am I right ladies? Guys really don't understand the struggle but I know my fellow females get what I'm saying.

Now don't get me wrong I am a lover of all things beauty related. I like to think of it as a hobby but ask my husband, and he'd give you a different theory. Although I don't wear makeup everyday, I do practice a skincare routine regularly. I have one for the morning and a more extensive one at night. I swear I'm not as high maintenance as I sound.

I believe that taking care of our skin is an important step that often gets skipped. I know I'm guilty of sleeping in my makeup all night or not wearing moisturizer because I didn't want to get too oily. And as someone who has struggled with adult acne, it's been a journey for me to find products that are simple, clean, and safe for sensitive skin.

I'm excited to share some of my favorite nighttime skincare products with you. Think of it as a mini spa treatment for your face every night. A time where you can wash away your day and just relax with a fresh and clean face.

Three Steps to a Fresh Face:

1. Cleanse- This is where I use Marleys Monsters 100% cotton rounds with Say Yes to Cucumbers Micellar water to remove eye and facial makeup. I love these eco-friendly cotton rounds that are affordable and reusable. Then depending on the day I will use either the Burt's Bee cleansing oil or the First Aid Beauty face wash to remove the remaining makeup. I love both of these products and usually switch them out every other day.

2. Tone- First let me say that this is an important step you don't want to miss! Toning your skin can help natural out the pH and leave it feeling fresh! One of my favorites is the Rosewater Toner by Luminance. Its made of pure organic rosewater and leaves my skin feeling soft and refreshed! And who doesn't love the smell of roses right?

3. Moisturize- Above all else, make sure you moisturize your skin! I love the Deep Hydration Moisturizer by Luminance. Its thick in consistency which I prefer in a night time moisturizer. I wake up in the morning and my skin is so soft and not at all greasy. It doesn't increase my oil or clog my pores. And the best part is that it's hand made with all organic ingredients!

I hope you enjoyed some of my favorite products and make sure to let me know if you try any of them! Don't forget to take some you time and pamper yourself. It's all about feeling good in your own skin!
